Principal Product Manager (AI)

Principal Product Manager | Dublin | Hybrid | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of a global technology and consulting organisation, seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of an AI product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for an AI portfolio, aligned to business objectives and market opportunities
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers across the full product lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and sales teams
• Identify customer needs and market trends to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and requirements through to launch and post-launch optimisation
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions
• Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate for continuous improvement
• Represent the AI portfolio at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Requirements

• 8+ years' product management experience in AI/data-driven solutions or enterprise platforms
• Practical hands-on experience with GenAI technologies — LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle from ideation through to deployment
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end product development or digital transformation in Financial Services or Healthcare/Life Sciences
• Strong client consulting skills — able to articulate AI value to both business and technical audiences
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
